Top Pride Festivities in Ontario From May to September

Posted by

If you haven’t already figured it out, our new candles with rings hidden inside aren’t because we love rainbows. Instead, we designed these special edition candles with rings inside to show our support for the LGBTQ community in Ontario, Canada. To commemorate the equal rights movement, we wanted to design something that gave our consumers more than just a delicious aroma and stunning jewelry that can value up to $5000. We wanted to show our love and respect for the LGBT community.

With the warmer months fast approaching, we wanted to give you a list of pride festivities in Ontario. We hope you join in on supporting the gays, lesbians, bisexuals, trans and ‘genderqueers’ in Ontario, whether it’s with our new pride candles with rings inside or a trip to one of these pride parades.

Tri-Pride in May

Start your pride as early as May at the Tri-Pride in Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo. From May 24 to June 5, you can enjoy all kinds of queerlicious events done right. From the Queercraft to the Lesbo Bingo, Beach Volleyball, Drag Show and much more, this is the place to be in Ontario during pride month.

Brantford Pride Parade in June

Of course, we can’t forget about the city where our candles with jewelry inside began. Brantford is our home, so when you’re done parading come check visit us at our store and pick up some LGBT candles. During Brantford Pride, you can enjoy coffee nights, movie screening outdoors, and even a closet raid.

Muskoka Pride in July

Muskoka had to make it on the list of pride events in Ontario because, well, it’s the Muskokas. Who doesn’t want to go there? That’s obviously a rhetorical question; the Muskokas is one of the most magical places in Canada. You may even spot a celebrity to throw glitter on!

Ottawa Capital Pride in August

Our nation’s capital is bound to throw a killer LGBT month in August. They have Mr. and Mrs. Pride pageants, family picnics, rainbow parties, a fair and so much more. Plus, you get to visit a place that accepted gay marriages long before our Southern neighbour and that’s something to be proud of.

Peterborough Pride in September

End the summer months with the Peterborough Pride in September. The events are still being discussed but if it’s anything like last years, you’re in for a good time. They had softball tournaments, private shopping events, meet-ups, disco skate nights, axe throwing, club nights – you name it.

They’re wild, they’re sassy, fun, exciting and full of power. And we aren’t just talking about pride parades. Support the LGBTQ community in Ontario by buying pride candles with jewelry hidden inside and we hope to see you at the parades. It’s time to be proud of our LGBTQ community in Ontario.
